This Privacy Policy for EverSpeak ("we," "us," or "our") explains how and why we may collect, use, store, and share your personal information when you use our services ("Services"), including when you:
- Download and use the EverSpeak mobile application, or any other application of ours that links to this Privacy Policy;
- Create or use an optional EverSpeak account;
- Use EverSpeak to create, edit, organize, and speak communication cards, groups, and related content; or
- Contact us or otherwise engage with us in connection with the Services.
EverSpeak is an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) app designed to help users communicate by creating and speaking sentences using customizable cards. Users may create, edit, and organize their own communication cards and groups. Users may also upload images to represent cards.
EverSpeak may be used by children or by individuals who rely on AAC for communication. Content created in the app is intended to remain under the user’s or caregiver’s control and may be edited or deleted within the app.

We collect personal information that you provide when you choose to create an account, contact us, request support, or otherwise interact with the Services.
Depending on how you use EverSpeak, the personal information we may collect can include:

Account-related information. Creating an account may be optional. If you choose not to create an account, some features may be unavailable or limited.
User-created content. EverSpeak allows users to create and organize communication cards, groups, text, and uploaded images. This content is created and managed by the user or the user’s caregiver.
Sensitive personal information. We do not intentionally collect or process sensitive personal information unless it is voluntarily provided by the user and necessary for the operation of the Services.
Application data and device permissions. If you use our application, we may request access to certain device features, including:
- Microphone: for speech or audio-related features, if applicable;
- Storage or photo library: to allow users to upload or manage images and related content;
- Camera: to capture images for cards or related content, if applicable.
You can manage device permissions through your device settings. If you deny certain permissions, some features of the app may not function properly.

In short: We process your information to operate, provide, improve, and secure EverSpeak, and to communicate with you when necessary.

We do not sell personal information.
5. How Do We Handle Social Logins?
In short: If you choose to sign in through a third-party account, we may receive certain information from that provider.
If EverSpeak offers login through a third-party provider such as Google, Apple, Facebook, or another platform, and you choose to use that option, we may receive certain profile information associated with that account, such as your name, email address, or profile identifier, depending on the provider and your settings.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party login provider you use, since their handling of your information is governed by their own policies.
If EverSpeak does not offer social login, this section should be removed before publishing.
6. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
In short: We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
We may retain account information while your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security, backup, or enforcement of our agreements.

9. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features
Some web browsers and mobile systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") setting. Because there is not yet a consistent industry standard for recognizing and honoring DNT signals, we do not currently respond to them.

In short: Residents of certain U.S. states may have specific privacy rights under applicable law.

We do not sell personal information and have not sold personal information in the preceding twelve (12) months.
